Ex-Academy thread


I wonder what players from the academy who are now in their 20s no longer in football are doing
 
Richie Ryan spent the latter part of his career in the US lower leagues and now coaches FC Tulsa.

Tommy Robson has played most of his career in the Scottish lower leagues, currently at Clyde.

Martin Smith (the other one) is now at South Shields - was very highly rated when he was at the academy and supposedly had top clubs sniffing around back then.

Chris Black packed up football all together in his early 20s, not sure where he's at now.

Dan Smith broke Diaby's leg, played a few games in the lower leagues and was last season working at a call centre IIRC.

Didn't Greenwood have a spell playing in the middle east? I remember his club announcing his as former premier league player etc.
