As beaches go you will struggle to find anywhere to beat Skiathos

I've done 20 or so Greek islands and I'd say it's my favourite

Others may have more to offer in regards nightlife, water parks etc but for relaxation and enough going on then Skiathos has it all
 
This thread needs compiling with a vote of all the mentioned areas. Could be very useful every year !

Any mod up for that challenge ?

We absolutely loved Agia Marina !
The apartments were in a perfect spot right on a lovely part of the beach and close to everything we wanted. We didn’t do much apart from a day in Chania which was beautiful.
I’ve just booked flights and apartment again for next year .
 
Just back from 11 nights in Lassi/Argostoli Kefalonia on Friday. Been there last few years at the same time, (once the schools go back). Weather is usually perfect, high 20,s low 30,s, but this time was a bit cooler and few days of thunderstorms. Still a great time, we always rent a bike/scooter and tour the island for a few days. On the beer front, I love a mythos as much as the next bloke, however Alfa is better and Fix is the best of the lot. There's Also the Fix Dark which is harder to find but a proper treat if you like a dark beer.

from 2026 jet2 fly there from newcastle , its only small so will probably get ruined

Good to hear !

It’s fab, we are booked for next summer as well.

There are loads of nice places if you are brave enough to drive over there 😂 Actually it’s not too bad at all.

Let me know if you want any tips on places to visit

Only been there for the day a few times.

We’ve been further west in the Chania area for the last 16 summers
