Regis le Bris - confirmed

The process was a shambles but we appear to have struck gold in Le Bris. The youngsters seem to be developing fast and really well together and even Mayenda is surprising after a disappointing spell at Hibs where he wasn't given much of a chance. Browne is a good addition and Isidor looks to be a decent player too. The signs are good and we're winning games. I'm still unsure about the depth but Its looking positive. Lets just ride the wave and see where we go.

"We are happy for sure because it was a tough game and I think the game plan was good but it’s not always easy to apply," le Bris said.

"I don’t know if we are a team who wants to control the game, who wants to create chances, who wants to create an unbalance in the opponents defence. This part of the game is not our best.

"I’m not sure we want to be the kind of team that has twenty, thirty or more passes. In the first-half, this wasn’t so clear.

"I think away especially, the solution is in the defence. If you are able to attract the opponent, recover the ball and then fast attack and counter-attack after that, it’s the best way to score I think."

Certainly not a complacent man.

I didn’t see the game today. Did Wilson look decent in his cameo?

Agree with your post

I know it’s only 4 games in but actually feel this worked out for the best

Le Bris is also really likeable, I’ve a feeling Still and his one man publicity machine would have pissed us off at some point ;)
Aye. Couldn't be happier.

I’ve always thought we’ve needed a very unemotional/calculated manager here to even out our emotional fan base (I mean that as a compliment).

It’s one of the reasons I think Mowbray did well. When he spoke to the press, it was always ‘let’s not carried away’ or ‘I don’t see what the fuss is about’. RLB gives off the same attitude albeit in a very different way.

I think it suits us really well.

I said this on the match thread earlier.

Our play away from home is night and day compared to at the sol.

Our press is nowhere near as aggressive. We practically tempt the opposition onto us and hardly press until they’re right on us then counter.

Compare that to at home where the oppo don’t get a second.

A calm man with a bit of swagger who has moulded the team into a decent championship topping outfit, delighted with him (and long may it continue) ♥️😎
I keep coming back to that word 'CALM' and what he's done is somehow get the players out of the traps with a real calmness about themselves and crucially, the Team as a whole are playing consistently and a very good team performance and shows once again that it doesn't matter about experience, or the best individuals but the team is what matters.

Don't know how long he can keep this going, but so far very impressed with the new Coach.
