No, not that soon. He (and probably his family) have sense. He signed up with because he gets what he needs most - game time in a club which trusts its young players. He'll stick with us if we go up. But not forever.

Can we though? I hope you’re right but if he shows any signs he won’t sign a new contract they’ve already shown they won’t let people run into the final year of their contract.

I hope we haven't got a buy out clause like the older Bellingham had .
Our midfield could get us well over 100m pounds .
We'll chuck a big contract at him later this season I reckon. The club get a fair bit wrong but they're doing a very good job at tying talent down on long term contacts.
Marra, I've watched us for 55 years, including Stokoe's cup win and not only have I not seen anybody as good as him playing for us, I honestly don't think I've seen many as good as him playing for anybody!
How the top dog scouts didn't discover him and nick him off us, I don't know, but thank God! I do realise he turned down some great offers elsewhere.
