Tom Cannon bid in - now signed for Sheff U.

Absolute disgrace if we don't sign a striker.
Isodor is not an out and out number 9...he was signed to replace Clark.
Looks like the club have pocketed the Clark money as many predicted they would
If thats true then people should be cutting speakman some slack tbh. If he's lost his best player and getting virtually nothing to reinvest.

Gotta pay for those new leds somehow and those loan fees ain’t free you knarr

Isidor is our striker according to some, unless we sign an actual striker then he is our Jack Clarke replacement.
After watching Mundle against Burnley and a PL experienced right back in Connor Roberts - I don't think anyone thinks the Mundle won't be starting at LW for the foreseeable future. He was our best player on the day. Isidor will add depth to the LW but unless Mundle gets hurt or falls out of form, his minutes will be played mostly at striker. He could also come in for Mundle or Roberts - could shift also into a 442 with him and Mayenda. But he says he's a striker, he's played most of his games as a striker, and we badly need strikers - why can't we just agree he's a striker?

I guess you’re right - though as mentioned in my post I suspect they brought in Wilson to play on the left, looking at his videos and how he plays. I imagine he will be used upfront if we fail to bring someone in.
I dunno. He says he is a striker who can play left wing as well.

But I totally agree we need another one in.

Wake up everyone! We're top of the table after three games, haven't conceded, and recently signed an experienced senior striker. Our midfield looks like a future england midfield. Wake up!
So you think we don't need to strengthen then. Do you think we'll finish the league on 138 points with no goals against us.

I agree he is a striker. The fact he can also play LW is good for squad depth. What happens if Mundle gets injured for a while/loses form and Isidor needs to fill in LW? Mayenda/Hemir or Rusyn up top?

As soon as window shuts tomorrow and we haven't signed an out and out center forward, on a permanent deal... Half the board will be clapping away like performing seals saying 'got to give the new lad time to settle, no point complaining now, give them 10 games, if we're in touch of the top in January then go out and spend money, no point wasting money when we're already top, blah blah blah' ..same shite every season

They've just pocketed £15m from Clarke, there's no wAy they didn't already have some £5-7m strikers lined up already, surely
