Quite a bit of money for a 18 year old - unsure about whether he’s an attacking midfielder, could well be a replacement for Adil Aouchiche if he is.

Apparently Aouchiche not the right style of play for Reggie so if we land this guy expect AA to leave

I think if anything the club have proved they tend to sign these “young unknown” players in windows with a long term view of replacing established first teamers when they’re sold (see Hume, Mundle etc) but obviously it goes without saying there have been failures doing this as well.

Wouldn’t surprise me if this kid is long term replacement for a future departure of a Jobe/Rigg and this season is just used sparingly as he’s adapting to English football.
