Seems a nice bloke but he was purely the cheap, easy option devoid of any plan and hell bent on signing old shite ala Ayew and Bobby Decordova Reid. He also seems to have no tactical idea whatsoever.

Graham Potter had agreed to take over on the proviso he could bring in his own Director of Football which of course we refused as our owner seems deadly in love with the absolutely useless leech that is John Rudkin.

Don't get me wrong I don't think Potter is all that but he would have made a lot more sense working with the players we have and the style that had been embedded over the last few years.

Quite a few on here wanted him at SAFC. Thankfully we wouldn't have had the cash to waste on him. I'd like to see Leicester do well but I'll be interested to see if you get charged under PSR for the last time and even if you don't I can't see Cooper being the answer to keeping you up.

Sheffield United are the only other promotion threat out of those teams imo. Norwich and Hull could probably offer more wages but I don’t see either of those teams troubling promotion this season
