Haha honestly this board. Clutching on anything to have a go at the club.

Signed a striker but because someone says he once upon a time played on the left he's not a striker.

I really can't get over the way some of our so called supporters go on at times.

Bit of an overreaction. Where have I had a go at the club?

I just happen to think Wilson has been signed to play on the left, where he seems to be most effective. If we’ve signed him as a CF and get nobody else in I’ll be disappointed but not that much because the current squad is going well.

I think we’ll end up with at least one of the three ‘proper’ CFs in the frame by the time the window shuts.

No, not sure how many times it needs to be repeated but it’s because fans of Russian and French football who have seen him play say he’s not been effective as a striker, but has been as a left winger.

We’ve signed an exciting player who potentially fills a gap left by one of our main men in Jack Clarke. It’s possible to be happy about this whilst also thinking he’s not the answer to our striker problem.
