Tom Cannon bid in - now signed for Sheff U.

Can't remember him when he was on loan at Preston. Seems he was injured mostly that season. Is he reliable enough to lead the line for us?

£5mn seems about fair. Hoy a couple of addons that are related to us going up and might get the deal done.

Not looking good on Simic I would think now.
While that is probably the case - Forest have just submitted £30m bids for 2 different strikers just so that they have their foot in the door and can find the best deal for either or and then choose, so it could just be us keeping our options open.

Joined in January and started 20 games scoring 8 times. Plenty of games there. According to wiki

Not sure about his injury record

I can believe we’re in for him, and we were last season. He’d suit us brilliantly and we have 3 aces over other clubs :
1) Alan Browne is likely to have been an influence from his successful Preston loan,
2) He will now be aware of the rep we have for developing/resurrecting young player’s career direction
3) he’ll know there is a pretty decent prospect of being the main man re game time.

I don’t think there’s an issue about the money. I think I’d rather see him here than Mendy or Simic. But who knows?

Is he any good this fella, what type of forwardis he
Can play all along a front three. Decent size but not a target man, back to goal type (for comparison the closest player in terms of size would perhaps be Dennis Cirkin, though I think Cannon will be just a bit bigger), very powerful runner but good with combo play too. Best position would probably be one of the strikers in a 442. Looked like a good all around footballer from his time at PNE.
