I completely agree mate. We are currently hugely weaker than we would have been and about to play the best side in the division. It’s a proper shame like but what can we do?

I'm sure posters think that we've decided to accept this offer as opposed to multiple others at a far higher value . The bottom line is , we've waited for the bids for as long as we can and this is the best one that's arrived .

They could have speculated a bit, offered him a bigger contract that he would be willing to sign with a non promotion release at the end of the season and hoped he'd have another year like last year.

Yep, by itself it’s quite telling. Makes you wonder that not a lot of teams think he can step up.

Why as long as we can though? If no-one pays what we want then he stays.

No way will any of our better players sign new contracts to stay with these Charlatans.
