I have my father’s season ticket on my smart phone. I have received his ticket for Burnley game and it is in my apple ballet, if I go into the pass details on the electronic ticket there is a bar code present can I print that bar code and give it to my father to gain entry. Any advice will be much appreciated l cheers

Probably, but you’d be better off logging into his online account and downloading the ticket as a pdf to print for him
 
Does your father have a smartphone? I assume not in this case. If by chance he does, forward the season ticket email with the button to add it to wallet to his email and he can download it from there.

If not you could attempt to print the QR code and use it, however the club are cracking down from this and they reserve the right to refresh the QR codes which means the one in your wallet will change automatically and printed ones will invalidate but that isn’t a certainty it’s just something they could do which could be a problem if you’re not at the match and he is.

The other option is to go to the ticket office and push like hell for a physical season card because it is not feasible to do the digital way because your father does not have a smart device.

I noticed it doesn't let you screenshot the qr code when you show it in your wallet. Probably have to take a photo of it with another phone and send it to yourself. Wonder if it changes match by match or the qr is your actual season ticket

You can on Apple. I think from memory on Android if you turn off NFC it will let you screenshot it too

Sorry might be just me the way I’m reading this but you have your father’s season ticket on your phone and you’ve received his ticket for Burnley - why do you have a season ticket and a match ticket?

If it’s an iphone you’ll have to double press the side button and select the ticket, and it’ll want your passcode or face id, once that is done it will say on your phone “Present to reader” and tap it below the screen on the glass bit and then that’s it. They’ll know it’s done as it’ll go green on the scanner and a beep noise will happen.

On an android it’s a similar process but when it says present to the reader go for it, but androids NFCs are a bit dodgy with the readers to it takes a lot more effort for it to recognise it, so it might be worth pressing on the View QR code button and scanning it on the scanner if he has an android.

Similar topic, is there a deadline on upgrading the tickets from one category to another prior to forwarding? Doesn't seem to be an option in my account for the game tomorrow.

Trying to forward an O65 to an adult and get an error saying it's an age restricted price class and to set the date of birth of the recipient, which is already set.

not sure then, it always works for me.

A couple of other options, for sheff wed I downloaded the ticket as a pdf and that was also an adult.

Or you could always make another O65 account to transfer it too and see what happens. Worst case scenario you are still in the same position

Cheers. Was just going to download the ticket and go from there.
