Jack Clarke

Then don't sell him. Play hard ball, if a club wants him then they have to pay the going rate.

I'll never understand this attitude of Sunderland and Sunderland fans of rushing as fast as we can to put ourselves down, bend over and take it up the arse off anyone and everyone.

There is no sane person in football that would agree that Clarke's current market value is £15m. No one.

If no one is offering £25m then don't sell. Anyone who comes in for him gets a quick reply saying the price is £25m, minimum. If you don't like it, fuck off. We aren't desperate to sell, we aren't bankrupt, we are stable and we know the value of our players. Come back with a serious offer and we can talk. Play the f***ing game and stand up for ourselves. Be tough.

They've bent over and took it up royally up the hoop , yet again

100% spot on mate. The owner I will say it again is!totally out of his depth. To accept an initial fee of £15m when as you rightly say we don’t need to sell.Selling him has significantly reduced our chances of even a top six finish, it makes no business or football sense at all! Am I like many others disappointed dead right I am, am I surprised not in the slightest.

According to Sunderland they accepted the bid because the player was desperate to play in the premier league

Let that sink in and reflect on it.
Then tell me did we match his ambition

You really don't get it do you.
My point which has gone completely over your head ( bless you) is do you think we matched his ambition

Last season was a shit show..we nearly got to the premier league at the first time of asking. I would've stayed this season if I was Clarke but there we are. It's done now. Move on

yes of course....remember we havent got £140mill burning a hole in our back pocket that premier league clubs..people need to grasp this
FFP wouldn’t allow us to spend £140 mate, we would spend about £20m & come straight back down.

Probs learned the techniques from his Saudi brethren.
Most likely. The day the horrible tosser chucked 145 years of the clubs history down the drain, was the day he should have been hounded out. I maintain, no other club in the U.K. would do the same for their local rivals, let alone ones whose ownership deny the Holocaust, murder women and kids, treat women as second class citizens and persecute LGBT people.

They dont want to go up. Clear as day now

Rutter 40m - 48 games, 7 goals, 15 assists
Jack Clarke 15m + 5m add ons - 40 games, 15 goals, 4 assists, plus 9 goals and 12 assists the previous season.

How is one worth 40m and the other worth 20m? I get the feeling we have been desperate for any sort of fee to cover improved contracts and pay for other transfers. So much for the money being there 👀
Summerville played 49 games, scored 21 and assisted 10 last season. He’s younger and more likely to succeed in Prem and went for £25m.

£20m is probably about right.

Good deal for us but poor deal for Clarke who is making a sideways step at best. He’ll soon realise that when playing in front of a few thousand rather than 40k+ passionate mackems.

If no one came in with 25 million in this window it would also give us a chance in January window to try and get some panic prem club to sign him for that fee or more, whilst we got Clarke for another half a season

And in that first season we had lost our 2 main strikers and in the January we did nothing. Contrast that with the Ipswich approach last season . That is what I am saying. Even last year we were close going into January
You do realise which divisions Sunderland and Ipswich are in?
I certainly do. That's my point.
One invested and moved on. The other did not and went backwards

Everything we've seen the last few days said any fee would be 25m plus add ons. Pathetic we look like we've rolled over. Wonder if Clarke has been putting pressure on the club.

Club made a mistake selling him to Ipswich they are the epitome of what could have been.
