It's ridiculous man. Got the likes of Rutter going for 40m ffs. Forget the 5m add ons aswell, we may never see the majority of that anyway. And the fact Spurs get their cut and we're left with about 12m. Absolute joke.

No, because they will more than likely be smart enough to keep him.

He’s unlikely to be sold in future for more than we are getting for him now. We should have held them to ransom.
 
He’s our star player yet didn’t feature on any of the advertising for the new kits or any promotional videos for the club in pre-season. He was always leaving that was the cost of not being promoted. as will be the case with Bellingham rigg Ballard cirkin etc incoming windows
 
If they had actually shown some ambition that first season back in the championship, this would not be happening loosing our star player to fuckihg Ipswich town man 😒 😑 😤
 
What surprises me is the fact none of the top teams were interested in signing him why? There was only the promoted and lower premier teams and one championship club looking at him. So is he really as good as we all think, I’m not to sure as much as I’m gutted he’s gone I don’t think he will have the success he had playing here against top premier defenders.

Fuck sake I was still hoping we might cling onto him but have just seen the Romano tweet.

This is going to keep happening until we get back to the top league again. Hopefully they use the money properly.
 
From the clubs point of view it was the optimum time to sell as a contract agreement didn’t seem close. His left foot stopped him being worth £30m.
 
All we have done is what every championship team has to do.

It’s the realities of modern football, that clubs down here have to sell. It’s a shame.
