Jack Clarke

Just playing devils advocate but potentially club taking cautious approach. Take the money now with over a week to spend it or they get an extra few million in the bank but no time to spend it.

Can’t help but feel like he was always going to leave this window. The actual fee means very little to us as fans as they could just decide to reinvest a higher % of fee received and it makes no difference

The cautious approach would've been to hold the transfer until we signed someone and then approved the deal.

If we had someone actually lined up then it would've been as easy as picking up the phone tomorrow and getting them in.

Sellong someone without a player is the clueless approach. If I was anyone else I'd take the complete piss out of you as your now desperate for someone. Player was worth £2m, now he's £4m. Don't want to pay, oh dear, relegation time....

It this is true I dread the message it sends to other clubs and players; that we’ve got no intention of ever getting promoted and are happy just to make a profit even if it means selling well below the market value.

The thought of Ba or Mundle stepping up is too embarrassing to consider. I was looking forward to the Burnley but might just have to give it a miss
Its a five year plan apparently. Read it on here.
Too early to attempt promotion.

Don’t worry though lads.

The day it comes to selling out better players for higher fees we’ll start shopping in a better market and will sign more accomplished players…… income two strikers no fucker has ever heard of
