I was being sarcastic mate. I feel like we’ve wrote the season off before it’s even started.

It’s a f***ing disaster selling Clarke at this point like. Especially for 15 million quid of which 25 percent of it isn’t even ours.
 

Well we saw how shite we were without him last season, this has taken the wind right out of the sails, what a blow and a downer before Saturdays game.
We had momentum and we have thrown it away again

We’ve seen our fair share of bottlers play for Sunderland, he is not one of them. Good head on his shoulders and tries for the team.

Regarding Clarke the writing was already on the wall last winter he was going, I’m more surprised it lasted until nearly September tbh.

Remember Jacks performance against the last premier league we played?…….Yes, Newcastle at home in the cup!…..he was terrible.

Ah well. At least £5m short on the fee but it looks like no bugger else was interested.

Personally I'd have kept him, invested in a centre forward and gone for promotion. Unfortunately I'm not a billionaire. I hope this points to us having signed at least one of our targets. 🤞
