Jack Clarke

Good point this, best comparison really
It definitely is. People want to bring up Rutter constantly, but he's a totally different type of player. Summerville, or perhaps even Sinisterra, are the closest comparisons. Transfermarkt has their transfer fees at 29m and 23m respectively.

Rutter not as good a player as Clarke, scored 5 goals last season was sold to Brighton for £40m!! So what do you think our owner should accept for Clarke? If it was £25m that by inference would mean Rutter is worth 60% more than Clarke!!
15 assists as well mind which is quite impressive.

I've always said that 'the model' means selling players and it's something we all have to get used to. However, the biggest test of it was how the money is reinvested. What we bring in after this remains to be seen, but selling one player for a big fee each window and bringing in 3 or 4 is pretty much keeping your head above water.

demonstrating he is good enough to perform in the premier league is quite the only metric that matters..clarke hasnt..which is why its ipswich looking to sign him rather than a top 10 team in that league..
What has he achieved that’s vastly more Walter?

You’re permanently full of absolute crap. On literally every topic.

On top of that you’re a proven fantasist. Remember the FSA

Is that our ambition?
"To keep our head above water"

Really hope we can hold on to him for another season, if we can get a striker or 2 in we can have a real go at promotion. We have no one else in that position who even comes close to him and with the sell on fee we would struggle to find a replacement

If he goes I think it would be one of the most gutted I’ve been at a player leaving
