Infairness to him, he is good at what he does. I just don’t particularly respect the job he does as it doesn’t offer anything.
 
Personally think we will sell at about 20-25

JC is 24 in November and has been brilliant for us and he took as much of a risk on us as we did him back in league 1 and it worked out amazing for both of us. He deserves a punt at the Premier league in his prime, all these lads have ambition that’s what makes them as good as they are. IF and it’s a big IF the funds are invested into the playing side then it’s great business for us in the long term. It’s been said in the past but situations like this say to other players that we are a great place to come and put yourself in the shop window and the club will work with you to progress your career and not stand in your way when opportunity presents itself! Agents and players do take note..

I hope he gives us another season but if he goes then he does so with nothing but respect and appreciation from me.

Simply we will not find a replacement half as good as Clarkey if we are serious about promotion then tell the world he isn’t for sale unless it’s £40 mil ffs

There's a fair way to go before it's a guaranteed 20m and the local press are already talking about being braced for the sale.

Club have wanted him gone all summer for a certain price. Big surprise no strikers rocked up until we were in serious talks about him going.

How many of our bets players have we sold? One? Our model is to get the best value for our assets, the same as every other well run club. The fact that basically every other top talent we have other than Clarke has recommitted to a long term deal shows something is going right.
