Car Crash 16.4…

They’re doing it all over the forum unfortunately, their slavish following of the crisp packet cup is not allowing them to see any balance whatsoever.

@brandon is responding to an aggressive response made to me because I had the temerity to comment negatively on the 16.4. I totally agree with Brandon. It's The pro-hundred brigade who respond aggressively to any criticism of their love child the Hundred. Posters have every right to express reservations about it.Thankfully the tournament is over for this season.

I haven’t got a clue who you are.

Is this your idea of fighting fire with fire?

The women’s competition dropped by 41 percent on Sky and the men’s tournament 28 percent compared to 2023.

On the BBC the men’s Hundred was down 25 percent.

Don't ever accept the depressing narrative that it is "here to stay". It may very well not be.

Good luck ECB getting investors to buy shares in the Titanic.

Car crash Hundred????

Edgbaston 15000 attendance. 2000 paid on the day.

County Championship day 2. Edgbaston.

397 Attendance. 2 paying spectators on the day rest were members.

Which one is the car crash exactly??

Which one provides test cricketers for England, which in turn brings millions of pounds into the ECB coffers?

It was up against the Olympics. I watched some of it after Paris finished. I didn't watch any of it whilst Paris was on.

The Olympics could be used as a convenient excuse, but that’s all it is and a fairly feeble one really. The percentage numbers that have dropped cannot solely be explained away by ‘but Olympics’.
Where do you get your figures from?

Thin air.

The competition which is costing the ECB absolutely millions upon millions and running at a huge loss where viewing figures are down 41% for the women's game. It's bankrupting English cricket at an alarming rate hence they'll desperately need investment now.
