we will either get good money..or he will stay, we have already turned down previous bids of about the same money


the club doesnt have to sell him, and he doesnt have to go if he doesnt want to..he has never made any noises about want to leave, he always puts in 100%, he has never sulked about anything

Harte can agitate all he likes but he cant make him leave the club if Clarke thinks its not worth it to him..ipswich will have to be putting relegation clauses in, they would be daft not to
 
personally I think he will stay and consider the clubs position in January

players must get a feel of things around the club, the positivity or negativity around the squad, it will give them an idea of how things are likely to go. thats when they start getting itchy feet as they can see first hand which way things are going....

Because Clarke is at Sunderland, probably. It’s bullshit like but probably expected when we finished 16th last season. Leeds got to the play off final.

Personally I wouldn’t sell Clarke for less than £30m. Its worth much more than that if he can help get us promoted.

Exactly. With (supposedly)the model we have, you would be prostituting yourself not to maximise your most saleable asset.

If anything given that he's still young and English that itself should add "homegrown" inflation/value to him like so many other home-grown players sell for, £25m-30m is the very least we should be after IMO
