We're lucky to have snared him. I tip my (high-)hat to the recruitment team. Clearly wasn't just some cut and Paiste job, this. He sounds like a Pearl among men!He could be a 'cymbal' of our success under RLB![]()
I love how people on a football forum with absolutely no legal knowledge whatsoever are implying were breaking rules.
Yet the club who are involved with the transfer, have a legal department, don't know what they're doing.
Ffs if this deal has been agreed we won't be breaking any rules.
So there’s an N in it.I'm actually excited about this one!
It still baffles me that people can't even get ISIDOR right. Wilson Isidor. Isidor.
I hope he’s better than the rest of themI'm still calling bullshit on this one like
He's ITK
I was just getting into my rhythm there, but you beat me to it.We're lucky to have snared him. I tip my (high-)hat to the recruitment team. Clearly wasn't just some cut and Paiste job, this. He sounds like a Pearl among men!
I'll get my coat.

That's totally OTT, the lad has done nowt wrong.I'd expect them to let their feelings be known every time he touches the ball.
War crime?I agree purely on the basis it must be a different legal team to the one involved in the Alvarez fiasco. I could totally see them signing off on a war crime.
He’s French, Susan. That would become an issue if the option to buy was taken up and it would be hard to argue that any transfer fee is assisting the war effort or enriching sanctioned individuals. Also the player isn't a commodity so there may be an exemption or license clause within the sanctions regime that protects his human rights.
Personally, I think signing him would be a PR disaster and it would be interesting to see how the fans taking a moral stance against the mags Saudi deal will react to this. If they're not just a bunch of envious hypocrites, I'd expect them to let their feelings be known every time he touches the ball.

Tbf he does. He’s absolutely f*cking class
But imagine if we were……..War crime?
People need to relax a bit here. We are signing a player from a Russian club. We aren't being taken over or being sponsored by Gazporm. Other clubs across Europe have done it.
Exactly, if anything we're saving a lad, we should be seen as heroesWhat a melt.
1. Aye really bad PR for signing a lad whose not even Russian, and has been unable to get a move out since the war started despite trying.
2. Letting them know their feelings? Against a French lad? Makes sense.
