This is not correct.

There are no blanket sanctions against trade with Russia per se. There are certain targeted sectoral sanctions - such as the UK import ban for Russian oil and petroleum. There are also asset freezes against certain listed Russian people (mainly oligarchs and politicians) and companies. It’s illegal for British businesses and citizens to do business with those listed entities. However Gazprom (Zenit owners) are not subject to a UK asset freeze.
