Jack Clarke

That's probably a decent shout.... more so either the deal structure allowed for say 9m up front then the rest in installments.

Even if somebody goes to 25m
The chances are it'll be in a payment structure the the initial down payment will be a bit higher.

I can't see leeds dropping this money on Clarke..

Hes almost always plays happy ... why wouldn't he... hes the star player here.
Response was to people saying he’s not been in any social media posts, not whether he was looking happy or not

Lesser club that brings in 3 times more revenue on match days and has financial monsters in 49ners and redbull backing them and nearly 30k on a season ticket waiting list that has been capped, come out the safc bubble
Leeds have always been a much smaller club than SAFC and always will be, despite Leeds having a population over 200k above that of Sunderland.

Clarke should be quick to remember whose guidance saw him rot in Spurs reserves alongside shite poor loan spells.

It wasn’t until he embraced the Speakman that he learned to love the beautiful game again.

I’m not saying anything new here like, but it doesn’t feel like a particularly positive move. They’ve probably got a better chance than us of being promoted right now, but they could quite easily not get promoted. If I was Jack Clarke, I’d be holding out for the right Premier League move rather than taking a chance of getting there. It’s not inconceivable that Leeds might not get promoted anytime soon, or, get promoted & relegated immediately.

Just feels like it’s a needless risk if he’s intent of forwarding on his career.
That's how I see it. Even a move to say Southampton or Brentford he could be back in the Championship before too long

Yeah I don't think that's anywhere close tbh. If it is it's another thing Speakman wants locking up over. What's the point in buying cheap players to sell on for a profit if half the money goes to his previous club. It just blows "the model" apart.

No, we have a skin lt billionaire in charge.
Out of interest do you think we should include sell on fees in any young players we sell?
