Think we're just going to have to prepare for some incoming bids as the window cones to a close. He continues to be one of the hottest properties in the league and there's no signs of him dropping form anytime soon.

I just hope the club have the determination to keep him, as I think we'll see some offers that will test their resolve in the next few weeks.

There will be bids for him, no doubt a flurry of them towards the window closing.

Its a test of the clubs resolve like. If we can bring a CF in and get lucky with injuries we can be play off contenders and may even go up so seems short sighted to sell him now.

I think tell him hes going nowhere right now and that if we dont go up we will sell him next summer. Even then with only a year left on his contract we will get a good fee for him, especially if he has a good season.

ah football insider, always fair and objective journalism of the highest level...

Wouldn't surprise me though, why sign the contract now when you can get the big move in the next 2 weeks and have another 3 months to sign a new contract on bigger wages after the window

Was yesterday's assist good enough? ;)
It was. Great to see him hitting the line and pulling it back.

The same with Roberts. They both looked dangerous Everytime they got the ball. Gives them both a second option.

Both a massive improvement on last season. 👍

The lad is literally irreplaceable for us. I’d want 30m for him.

Luckily for us; for all their faults… this ownership seems to box clever when it comes to the value of our players.

Leeds are in a situation we normally find ourselves in. Found themselves short at the start of the season, started slow as a result, with their fans desperate for action in the transfer market. Everyone in the world knows they need players and can up their price accordingly.

Unfortunately for them everyone also knows they've recouped more in transfer fees then the rest of the division put together (literally).

Now, I'm not saying we shouldn't, or wouldn't, sell our best player to a Championship rival. But they best know that we'll be charging an absolute premium (and already have our replacements lined up).

People can say what they want about Speakman, but nobody can accuse him of selling our players cheap. Look what we did to Southampton for a croaked Stewart last year.

Daniel Levy would have been proud of that deal for Stewart.
