Men 6pm

?? The blast and the Hundred don't consist of the same teams.
Also Brave do not have an out of the ordinary number of Hants players and the Hawks were rubbish in the Blast this year anyway so I’m not sure the point holds at any level. I get that people don’t like the new tournament. It’s not top of my watch list. But there’s a bit too much making shit up at times for me.

Well exactly.

I still think the 16.4 is manufactured, artificial franchise, marketing bollocks. Does anyone on here think otherwise? 🤔
Goes with territory really, franchise model is done across the world and the tv companies like it too. And if it’s on tv it’s full of marketing bollocks

I like how it engages kids and gets them into cricket, I’ve watched the finals on BBC 2 today for nowt, can’t watch any other Cricket for free on terrestrial tv

And watched loads with the bairn this last month, hopefully stayed engaged enough to watch some of the test soon

I know some recoil in horror at the idea of Durham having a franchise but i genuinely think it’s a case of get on board or get left behind, if the hundred stays or goes or changes to t20 format i think the franchise model is here to stay

All the money comes from tv and they don’t want 18 teams, need to be one of the ones they want
