Yeah Archie isn't it? Not sure how old he is but he's got plenty of games this last season.I think Lightfoot is from Consett. I used to play footy with his Dad for the school. Canny lad for a black and white.
I’ve heard his young lad is meant to be good and has a canny chance of making it.
G Bell the brother of Luke?
Few talented lads in this group but Ogunsuyi, Whittaker, Neild, Geragusian, Jones and Chungh the ones to watch out for for sure.
Metcalf looks a good keeper too.

Yeah, obviously want all the academy lads to do well here but it's really good to see so much promise in the ranks as of late - so much better than under Methven and Donald. That’s him I think mate. Been with the academy a long time, so hopefully gets a couple of breaks along the way.
Cheers mate. You seem to know your stuff on the Academy. Be great if you keep us informedYeah, obviously want all the academy lads to do well here but it's really good to see so much promise in the ranks as of late - so much better than under Methven and Donald.
Another to look out for in a few years is Trey Ogunsuyis little brother, very highly thought of from what I can tell.

Well hopefully I'm right and the lads develop how it looks like they will, Geragusian definitely the one I'm most excited for out of the usual u18 group - although potentially only so impressive because he's about 6'4 at 16 and bullies lads at this age, keeps developing on the ball and he could be serious.Cheers mate. You have to wonder if some of the lads who've left and not gone on to do much would have developed more had they stayed - likes of Greenwood, Hugill, Mumba. It’s great seeing them come through. Patto, Neill and Rigg all in the first is excellent for the current lads coming through.
Always good that we show a pathway to the first team to make sure we keep the better players coming to SAFC over the mags.
Agree always nice to see the lads who watch them a lot and what their opinions of who to watch are.

These lads have shown all the other young ones that there's a pathway and they're better off here, obviously not being flogged for pennies helps.
Yeah that's another one, so many over the last 5 years it's crazy - young lad at everton for a million quid too Francis OkoronkwoDefinitely agree mate. We lost a few that you mentioned, Stephenson to Liverpool maybe as well.
I know Greenwood and Neil were big mates. He must look and wonder, as he’s been to Arsenal, Leeds and Boro on loan. Off to Preston this season whilst Neil just been named Captain here. He’d have been better off staying here with hindsight, although I’m sure he’s made a few quid with his moves too.
