SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

Right lets be realistic here

We don't sell out the stadium now. Thats not a dig at fans. We dont fill it.

They arent going to spend millions and millions on putting another stand onto the stadium to have more empty seats.

They aren't going to spend millions to get one or two concerts then have a stand empty for the other 20 plus matches the SOL hosts during the year.

You are living in a dream world.
The point is that if they are going to the expense of adding boxes ,adding extra seats would be cost affective even if only filled during concerts ..to stop development cos some fans have an aversion to empty seats is madness!

So if they built the East Stand in time for next season we'd fill it then despite having around 8000 empty seats at most home games?

We had 10 years in the Premier League and never filled it then

Its absolutely delusional
Are you struggling with the extension would be a corporate extension? With bars etc, not nornal seats for match day tickets?

Thankfully this is all just made up nonsense by deluded idiots

If you honestly believe the club will sanction millions of pounds on a new upper tier for a couple of gigs per year then have it unused the rest of the year then you are deluded.

It isnt getting extended

Are you struggling with the fact the stadium is never full and splashing millions on a completely new stand is neither good for business or is actually going to happen

And people wonder why we get laughed at as a fanbase

Why is it a complete new stand? It's an extension which was pre planned when the stadium was built. The use of the space could change to include more expensive corporate areas.

Obviously improving corporate areas isn't good business in your world

Well as you put it if it was to mirror the West and East Stand it would be a new stand. Is that too difficult to process

It's like herding cats talking to you.

The RUMOURED East stand extension would increase our corporate facilities thus being able to attract bigger concerts and more corporate clients to match days.

That would give the club more funds to help the finances

It isnt herding cats. Its common sense

Its pure nonsense to even think the East Stand is getting extended

We attract concerts just fine as it is and as pointed out weve struggled to see out corporate for this season

But aye extend the stadium

Move the away fans to the North Stand lower and let them also have the BCB/a new name thou and give them as many tickets as they want. And 3 stands full of Sunderland fans

I mean that's not true like we didn't get Taylor Swift because of our lack of corporate availability

So your ignoring the rumours of an extension to the east stand to get more corporate facilities in?

Corporate brings more money in than normal seats and the only stand left is the east stand
I don’t think it happens under this ownership group
Corporate is selling out season after season, why wouldn't they look at it?
It’s nowhere near this season mind

Which concerts have we missed out on in the last 10 years due to not having big enough coorperate areas?

Anyone know how much corporate currently generates? By doubling that or potentially tripling it by doing the different layers of hospitality like spurs would it pay for itself in ten years?

Taylor swift for one

You have no idea if that's true. We've hosted pretty much all of the biggest acts in the world, other than Taylor swift.... Springsteen, one direction, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, pink, oasis, Coldplay... .. we clearly can host gigs of the acts at the top table in world music and arent missing out due to a lack of coorperate facilities

That was the rumours doing the rounds when this all resurfaced this week
