SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

I have no idea, the rumour is the east stand will be raised to match the west and north stand.

I'd assume instead of the concourse they would use it as corporate seating for concerts etc

The stadium has been designed to be easily extended by changing the roof angle. But to do so you would have a huge area above where the new boxes would be, where seats would usually go.

You also have to build back like in the NS so that you can access the new areas.

It'll be expensive for a few extra boxes and corporate bars and not adding regular seats wouldn't save much money.

You don't think they are looking g at how they can raise income and improve facilities that enable more concerts etc?

Right lets be realistic here

We don't sell out the stadium now. Thats not a dig at fans. We dont fill it.

They arent going to spend millions and millions on putting another stand onto the stadium to have more empty seats.

They aren't going to spend millions to get one or two concerts then have a stand empty for the other 20 plus matches the SOL hosts during the year.

You are living in a dream world.

Realistic ? Build it and they will come. We doubled Roker's capacity (which we didn't fill in the last season) and they came. All about belief and marketing.

So if they built the East Stand in time for next season we'd fill it then despite having around 8000 empty seats at most home games?

We had 10 years in the Premier League and never filled it then

Its absolutely delusional
