Jack Clarke

If they are genuinely interested, and offered around £20m up front, he’ll be gone imo.

Let’s be reasonable here - there hasn’t seemingly been huge interest in the lad from PL clubs; his contract is running down post this transfer window; they’ll be able to offer a much better wage than us; better PL prospects arguably; he is familiar with the club/area (maybe he is a Leeds fan although not sure about that)

It would be a good price, and selling players in such circumstances is supposed to be the entire essence of this type of model. Albeit, investing it wisely is an entirely different matter altogether……..

What do people get out of making posts like this? Take a creative writing course or summit man.
I genuinely think that’s what he’d say which was the question posed.

What do you think he’d say? “I got a good fee for Clarke I’m going to spend it on two experienced strikers”?

Selling Clarke pretty much takes our goals out of the team so if its true let’s hope they have a striker lined up

Why? If a club meet our valuation and the player agrees to move what difference does it make what division he goes to?
Cos can understand if he wants to better himself in the prem league now then fair enough. But to go to another championship club who are prepared to pay the wages he wants/deserves shows they have ambitions and we dont.

"Ramping up"

In the same way the "Clarke has signed a new two year contract with SAFC" rumours ramped up with retweets.

It doesn't mean it's true.
Exactly. The source of this rumour is practically non-existent and yet I'm sure there'll be some proper bottom of the barrel site report the "rumour" siting some tweets despite there being fuck all.

I remember once seeing a youtube video of a streamer who tweeted a fake transfer rumour just to see what happened and it ended up trending and the betting markets went mental despite it being utter shite and the original poster saying the whole time he made it up to see what happened.
