Yeah I thought that particular comment was naive and a bit silly of him and offensive to cricket as a whole.That would entail watching this farce, and I'm not, so can't comment on something I haven't seen. I care too much about the sport, and in particular Test cricket, to give a minute to this horrific stain on the domestic game.
I just commented on Livingstone's comments that nobody wants to watch a game where the bowlers have a chance. What was it? It's no fun fending one off your nose or something like that? f***ing ridiculous comment which is just downright offensive to the game of cricket.
In the post you quoted though I was making the point that I think it’s fair to accept that they is some quality cricket played in this and other short format tournaments.
And accept the fact that bowlers have bowled particularly well in this competition which I thought naively might be praised by the many who have said a lot that it favours the batting side too much.
And that people can dislike a tournament but still have the grace to accept that point.
People have banging on for a while that bowlers are at a disadvantage yet when that balanced the other way and they bowl really well no praise in the slightest
