Roberts has had a similar career path, and his attitude since he’s been here seems fine
Like I said, I’ve no proof, just a suspicion that I’d back. I could absolutely be wrong about it. A quick google finds articles talking about him having bust ups with bielsa and having his attitude criticised by Michael Appleton for example.

He and Roberts (or Clarke as another poster suggested) have had a lot of loans but their career paths aren’t the same at all. Poveda had already had five clubs before he signed a professional contract (though leaving Barca wasn’t his fault). Clarke and Roberts got big money moves up the ladder to a big six club. Poveda left city, having graduated through their academy, for a championship club.

Thats fair enough, and if we’d brought him in for a fee as our main man I would worry. However as he’ll be competition for Roberts and Ba, I think he’s worth the risk (though I wouldn’t rule out Ba leaving before the end of the window)

The club seems to players with a good attitude… maybe they see a player who has gone astray in the past but is ready to settle down and concentrate on his career.
I for one am excited to see him on the pitch as soon as he is fit… certainly in the beginning I can see him being a game changing impact sub. Given the high energy press RLB has introduced the use of subs will be important. Let’s see how it goes.
