I can imagine that the sporting director doesn’t speak to anyone other than the most senior coaches (head coach & Dodds) about these things for exactly that reason.

Whilst the youth coaches are a vital part in the clubs development system, there’s not much reason for an u15’s coach to know about a star player’s contract negotiations.

Unless Methven and Donald are in charge, in which case they’d be whatsapp’ing the canteen staff.
 
Sorry like but Skunk has got more things right than Copley on anything major with regards to the football club.

So I know who I’m believing, given Copley’s wordplay in the article (signed/agreed) it just seems like it’s an article thrown together to gain clicks for revenue for the echo.

If Skunk Hater broke the news on Bent’s departure 14 years ago and still gets good info now, who the fuck is his source?! Who’s been at the club that long?

Maybe there’s 2 sources? It’s like a good old fashioned whodunnit this!

I think he won’t get near the top because he struggles with the ball when under real pressure . Given time he’s a very good player . Saturday was an anomaly though. He was poor and he’s miles better than that
