Jack Clarke

If it doesn’t happen I’m prepared to hold my hands up and say I was wrong but the fact the person who told me has got nowt wrong and with things he’s said out of the blue (like Le Bris 4 or 5 days before it was even on twitter) fills me with confidence on this 🤞🏼
Mr Haters word is enough for me.

He did a couple of times early in the first half. If you're of a negative persuasion and don't really watch the game those were very noticeable so obviously he's now "shite."

He also did a lot of good work in the middle though.
I don't think anybody is saying that, but just staying facts, he was giving the ball away.

Speakman has intimated before that he believes goals are coming more from wingers and less from strikers in the modern game therefore he doesn’t place the same importance on signing a striker that the majority of the fans do.
He’s right to an extent, the bit he is missing completely is how important a competent front man is to help create the space for those wingers to exploit and score more goals by stretching defences, running in behind, pressing high and being able to hold the ball up etc

Chipping in with 10-15 goals would also be useful 🤣

Well believe it when I see it but looking increasingly likely he'll stay beyond this window.

What a player he is though. Very rare a club like us have players who are a joy to watch and you look forward to seeing them play. McGeady in League One was one. Defoe and Sess in the Premier League. Stewart in L1 and the Championship when fit. Clarke is definitely another.

(Not saying McGeady was better than our Prem players, but they were mostly workhorses rather than talents)

This is just a case of someone seeing the Ian Harte post and putting 2 and 2 together and getting 22. Harte is an agent for a numbers of our players so it could be about anything.

Even when McGeady wasn’t playing under Parkinson. He was still the best player in the league by a mile

I hate Aidan McGeady.

The day Jack Clarke replaced that knacker in our team was like a weight had come off and we'd been cleansed.
