Jack Clarke

People are desperate for Clarke sign a new contract so when people post something on x everyone believes it as true clearly it is not true

He was awful on Saturday. Way off it.
He was I was calling for him to come off. Then I seen how much off the ball work he was doing late on in the game and realised I was wrong and why he was still on the pitch. It’s some of the things that go unnoticed at times.

its easy this ITK game

you take a punt on a 50/50 chance
To be fair. It wasn't a 50/50 chance. More like a 10/90 chance...or likely 5/95 chance.

Jack Clarke has 2 years left on his contract...he's constantly getting linked with moves away to PL clubs and he will know if he puts in yet another good season in this division, he will continue to get offers from PL clubs.

Obviously this time next season (assuming he stays and he's still in the Championship), he will only have 1 year left on his deal which will make him a very likely cheaper option from a buying club, than he is now, meaning his wages may well be more favourable from the buying club.

Signing an extension now wouldn't be logical from Clarke's POV, other than making an extra few quid instantly...whereas if he waits, he'll likely get offered a bigger salary in the future. And no doubt his agent will be advising him this, knowing his agent himself will likely get a nice chunky % of his new contract deal when signing for a PL club.

Hopefully and will believe it when the club announce it. And if he does we owe him a go at promotion and we need to sign some strikers. He deserves to be in the Premier League sooner rather than later.

I didn’t think he was very good but I didn’t notice him specifically giving it away repeatedly.
Bloody hell mate, first half, it was everytime he received it.
Has a very poor game on Saturday no denying it. That's football
It is. You can't say Neil was poor on here tho....

He needs to improve massively on the ball if he wants to reach the top.

That doesn't surprise me re Neil if that stat is true. Getting caught in possession in our defensive third happens too often with him when he plays in the defensive role and happened a couple of times on Saturday as well.
People kidding themselves he’s good enough for the defensive midfield position on here. Hes nowhere near good enough.

Hes being wasted playing there and will cost us this season as he did last season.
