Striker
And are we unwilling to pay that or are they asking for more? There’ll be a lot of ‘who blinks first’ going on and they need to sort this or they’ll be unable to replace him. We don’t know what else is being weighed up. I know you get info but won’t get all info, so no point in losing the plot. I want a striker, we need one we all agree. Isn’t frustrating ? Yes. Frustrating enough for 15 posts a day going on about it? Maybe for some, not me. Something could emerge any second. It’s got nothing to do with me what I think is fair, time is running out so we need to get a deal done. I would say 2 million up front would be more than fair though, then variables which could hit up to 4 is a drop in the ocean if we were to get promoted while he is under contract.
We would if your number one two three four and five chose elsewhere and our 6 and 7 won’t be free till deadline day. It’s clearly close but being negotiated. We could very well be negotiating elsewhere but this one made a loud noise. In a way if like us to get him because he’s keen. He also may not adjust to the pace and physicality so if it’s 4 million might get an oven ready. If he wasn’t number one target then I doubt we’d still be here after two months
