Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

My start of the season optimistic head is saying they won't leave us short again, they can't justify it this time.

I am however getting de ja vu
This is why I want loan moves to keep falling through, even if they are just to allow Hemir out on loan, as it means their hand is forced with bringing in experience.

Better chance if they can't get a loanee though, if they signed an u21 on loan they'd definitely call it a day.
100%, but they wont be forced into anything. They honestly couldn't give a toss. KLD will just stop coming to games again, simple. There's something up with all this like, the striker situation and not spending hardly anything. KLD still looking to sell imo.

...why am i seeing Zlatan's name on that list...
Well the basis of our list is our shortlist from 2017. It was found in a locker that got jammed, but has recently been reopened and the lock replaced following the investment in the academy and stadium. Unfortunately 6 out of the 8 players have since retired. One has changed his telephone number and the other has had a career change.

You would see Roberts stats shoot up in goals and assists if he had someone to 'bounce' off....very clever player, just has nobody on his wavelength.
We saw that with Amad and Stewart running off him
We're so close too but as it stands we won't be able to kill teams off consistently enough and teams will always be in a game against us, can't change without that #9.
That’s the frustrating thing mate. We’d have been back on the bus with the 3 points at half time on Saturday if we’d have a half competent centre forward with any sort of striker’s instinct.

Watching this first weekend of the season it looks like there are goals in this league. We simply cannot make the same mistake as last year and fail to give the manager the tools to compete.
Add to that a quote the Cardiff come commentators from the match on Saturday. “Sunderland are a CF away from being a very good team.”

It would be letting down the excellent recruitment done elsewhere, the fans patience, the excellent home grown talent that has come and is coming through, the seemingly promising new manager and least/ most importantly, the loyal, devoted fans, to not sign a CF.

KS, “ Hold my beer.”

Better option than paying him severance or garden leave I suppose
