The Hundred 2024

This has got to be the death knell for the 100. Surely any cricket player who is still playing at a decent level will now give this a swerve.

Stokes was averaging 3 with a strike rate of 60 before making his 2 in this innings so that significantly strengthens the Superchargers 😂

The relevant point is why was the England captain mandated to play in this competition and allowing the unnecessary risk of incurring injury. That's what's silly.
That’s not what the poster said though was it, he said any player should now serve the tournament as if it’s the tournaments fault 😁😁

You can get injured in any game anytime in any competition unless you saying a England captain scould never play for another team ever

You must not be able to pull a hamstring at Old Trafford in a different tournament

Guess if he played in the one day cup on the ground and went for the same sprint he would have been ok

Now you know what I meant by finding every possibly angle to have a go, it’s now the tournament fault and it’s a curse!!

Any player worth their salt will now avoid it 😁😁

And no way would he be released to play if there were only county fixtures in between Tests

I could equally say that you'll defend any criticism of this hotch potch tournament no matter what.
If Stokes hadn't been mandated to partake he wouldn't have incurred the injury i.e. it was a consequence of partaking. Wholly logical to SEVER that risk by avoiding the tournament.
So any critic of this farce of a competition is now stupid in addition to being a snob.
