Support our City Centre - Sunderland

Coming through from Durham tonight for the Inspirals at The Fire Station. Thinking about trying Sheepfolds but might stick with the City Centre cos I've just had a knee replacement so walking all the way back over will cripple me. Any recommendations for bait in the Centre for me and the Mrs please?

Get an Uber over. Cheap as chips.

I think that'll be the plan mate

No mate, as long as its good happy to try anything
Directly opposite there's Mexico 70 (Tacos) and Koji (Japanese). Also Moti Raj, Spice Empire for Indians

Keel square has the Botanist (hanging kebabs and traditional)and Keel Tavern Traditional. Pies are lovely)

Biancos for an Italian that's next door to fitzies

Jack Thai next to cooper rose.

Those would be my pick

I would do both, both need supporting as much as possible. Start in Sheepfolds then get a taxi over, only be pennies that distance but will save a heftyish walk. Then plenty of nice places around the Firestation including the Engine Room itself to enjoy.

Would love nowt more than to be trying Sheepfolds this weekend but I’m on holiday soon and a failed MOT this week has dented me available coin until then.

After all the chaos of last weekend, I think it's time to give our city's economy and outlook a boost.

Whether it’s going out for a meal, having a few drinks, watching a movie, bowling, or shopping...

Who's in?
Bowling alley was canny run down when I went over Christmas like.

I think that'll be the plan mate. I'm through every week for the match but stick to the same boozers but Sheepfolds looks like it could be a game changer for the City
