I hope that this is the case and we're a lot more clinical with our passing this year

It's hard to believe that the problem was with the strikers when it seems that everyone we played there, regardless of their playing style, struggled.

The majority of our signings happen pretty quietly. Rarely is anything played out in the press & the only reason Mendy is is because he’s making it public to force his club’s hand.

Not going to lie, I totally forgot about the League Cup, and Europa.

To be fair, I would take that haul.

It is about 20 years ago though. I expect he has some regrets anout the last 15 years.
 
Mayenda leads the high press very well, there’s been a few times where his press has led to us nicking the ball and scoring, obviously the job of a striker is to put the ball in the back of the net which hopefully he can improve on. Hopefully we get this Mendy deal over the line tho. 🤞

Our strikers got very little quality service last season. Most would have struggled with that standard.
