But are we, really? People may say its public knowledge but for the past 20 or so months its been this line of rehetoric "were trying to bring in at least one forward" but they never have..
Those young lads recruited last season were never going to take up a regular starting position nor score 10-15 goals a season. It was a gamble by the club that may, unlikely as it was, that may have paid off in such a young group of lads. I would be asking who exactly scouted the four brought in?
The Club ( by that I mean KLD & Speakman) have bluffed their way through this last season with managers, coaches and recruitment. If the really had intentions of signing a goal scoring forward player, they could have done so from a choice of at least 6 options. The reason they have not is purely down to Money.

An image can tell you more than a thousand words!..I know its just a snapshot but it displays the working dynamic we all fear!and have suspected for years now!Just look at brissies folded arms arms ,and demeanor not a happy man to be receiving the boss clowns wisdom.

Is Speakman saying, "Sorry Reg mate, we were THIS close to signing a competent CF with more than one senior goal on his record, but then his team played hardball and demanded £400 and a tray of M&S sarnies for the negotiations and that was it..."

Aside from that, why would someone make seating out of that stuff, mind? Isn't that the plating you stick on dodgy steps to keep folk from falling ower?

I agree it just a snapshot, but Reggie certainly doesn’t look interested listening to Speakman there.
 
In all honesty we don't know what they were discussing but it looks like tactical advice from speakman (pushing up squeezing the middle) to a man that looks very uncomfortable receiving it! Speakman is a very powerful man at safc at the moment and obviously wants his say but lets hope that picture is from the first day of work and hes just humoring the(in coaching terms) talentless nomark! I never believed the stories on here about speakman having a huge impact on team selection but he obviously wants a set up that is collaborative and has hired personnel to fit that model.The sad thing is though if it fails its brissy that gets the bullet and not any of the teflon triplets of dodds ,proctor and speakman.

Totally, Why does Speakman talk about football, he’s never coached, managed or played at a professional level, in fact most on here probably as much about football.
So unless he’s telling Regis where to get his bread from, no wonder he looking peed off.
 
Just got to see how he does and get behind him. It's the hierarchy as opposed to him that's caused this mess / anger from the supporters. He's an underwhelming appointment but then again some of the others linked were too!

Like every coach we've had, I'll give him a chance and hope he's a genius, he might need to be with our transfer policy!

Know nothing of him but hopefully we've unearthed a gem.

I hope not and I don’t think so.
I think most supporters know that Le Bris is not to blame.

Whatever happens come Saturday we have to get behind him because in football momentum counts for a lot.
A bad start is not what we want or we could be looking at a long season ahead.


Even worse if Dodds takes over just after Guy Fawkes!

No. What we want is a combative type who flies in the face of the values of our hierarchy. A man who doesn't care about the model, the club, or even his own children. A maverick who will just ignore every piece of advice from every members of staff around him and set us up playing proper 4-4-2. A man who personally hijacks the clubs finances and overspends on any striker he get his hands on.

Only then will we as a fanbase be united as one.

That’s not the case at all, did you listen to the podcast the lads did with two of their fans?. He had a very big backroom staff and pretty much fired and hired at will. He fell out with many and they were punted that goes for football and staff at the club. This will be very different to what he had at his previous job and it’s a massive mistake not giving the bloke someone he can trust and knows to help him. They are making it hard for the bloke add in no defensive midfielder and no striker and no money spent at this point in reality they are giving him no help.
