They aren’t though, because they never give credit for anything. They won’t look back more than 6-12 months, anything good is deemed lucky and anything bad is Speakman/KLD being devious.
If the first stops, the second can’t happen.

The longer it goes on the more it gets talked about as its the biggest issue regarding the club.
It's pretty obvious it's going to be the biggest debate on a Sunderland message board. If you don't like it, make a post about something else you want to talk about.
Maybe set up a post for folk like yourself to moan about other posters moaning?

The first will stop when Speakman signs a striker of competence. Moaning or not, at least people giving negative opinions are discussing the current state of our squad/leadership. Those moaning about others being negative are moaning for the sake of moaning and are far more tedious imo. Agree, disagree or ignore them.

I'd agree with you that it's difficult to have a go at Proctor as we don't really have much to go on, so I don't have a problem with him.
Dodds however is very different, we've seen first hand his philosophy, his tactical acumen and how he conducts himself in interviews. That is more than enough to form a decent opinion on him.

I am just failing to see how replacing someone whose job is collecting bibs and cones would improve the teams performance?

He was 100% over here for at least 3 days last week staying at the Hilton.I don't think a fee has been agreed and the reports about him being over for a medical look to be false. The only real info we've got to go on is their president/owner said they value him at around 4/5 but recognise that they may have to take a bit less. We bid something like 700k
I know in negotiations you start low, but I think that's a pretty insulting offer for a striker with his record over the past few seasons. I'm guessing Mbappe and his family know how difficult those goals will be to replace and will want a fee that reflects Mendys record....if they want to sell at all.

As if they’re not trying to sign one. The mods need to sort this. Always happens. Repeated negativity from the same posters, none about Mendy, same targets, say it once and shut up. Then people defend it, they argue, thread off track and pointless. Just limit posts and stop it being dire. Move Speakman hating posts to Speakman hating threads then we don’t come looking for striker news. A few miseries ruin this place. It’s crap.
