The Hundred 2024

I’ve watched a few of these 100 games over last couple of years.
While it’s inoffensive to me. Whats the actual point of it? 20 balls less than a t20 so 40balls 7 overs 27minutes shorter than a t20. Really not required

Been spoilt today with a day off work, test match finishes and then straight to another live game
I've moved onto a 53 year old Doctor Who episode.

Refuse to watch something that's just decided to derail Durham One Day campaign after one game.

Shocking they can just steal players at a whim.

I'd question whether North should remain at Durham if his interest are divided between us and Leeds team and he's happily f***ing us over.

It's saving domestic cricket in this country. It's being sold for billions to investors from India,Saudi, NFL owners and ...er...Andrew Strauss.

Games watched this year on tv by the bairn prior to 23/07/24 (0)

we are the dinosaurs, its not aimed at us who grew up watching free test cricket on tv
And the 60 over Gillette cup midweek on BBC 1. That was brilliant - and all the unusual non first class grounds on BBC 2 on a Sunday afternoon such as Darley Dale.

Fuck off man clearly a late call up as they've lost a bunch of player

We better have him on Sunday.

6 Durham players in the side then
There's been zero announcement from Durham or the Leeds team on his signing or how long he's with them for, so it's anyone's guess.

Knowing our luck we will lose him for the next month as he carries the drinks in the hundred.

They already called up Dwarshius and Brown as replacements for Stokes/Brook.

So now they can just call up even more players.

North derailed our season last year stealing Clark for the hundred and now he does it with Jones.

Questions really should be asked how he can sit and do both jobs. Conflict of interests and only hurts Durham..

Fact it's not been announced cos Durham don't give a fuck about the fans.

Bostock and North more interested in getting a hundred franchise

Hopefully the Leeds team don't make the semis.

If our one day cup doesn't go too badly we might get our players for the latter stages.

There last game is the 13th and ours is the 14th.

QF's for one day cup start the 16th

Jones replacement for Pennington for this game only according to BBC website.
Really like for like. No doubt Pennington will be needed for key 12th man duties on Sunday so Jones will still miss a game for us.

Why can't they play Roy or Ingram from their squad instead?

Just like last year they had Muyeye that could have played but they stole Clark from us and genuinely fucked up our tournament.

Ahh yes the equivalent today to that child of the same age you were able to watch Cricket midweek and Sunday afternoons within 3 hours.

Why the 100 grounds are full and gaining loads.of new interest.

Get back to the cc with ya flask and ham sandwiches packed lunch. Life moves on. Don't despair don't feel angry that youngsters today prefer this and love it.

It will keep the game going for another hundred years long after we have left this earth so don't fear it, think of the future who love it and can enjoy cricket 100 years after we have departed the earth.
