Fair enough. I think he could be decent. Not sure his position was an immediate priority for signing someone though, given the players we currently have.
I can see both perspectives. I don't think anyone (at least anyone sensible) is writing him off. There are definite red flags though. Someone last night said he's played 71 games in England, citing that as experience. When you consider Abdoullah Ba has played more than that in two seasons its slightly concerning. To be 24 and only have managed less than two seasons worth of games is a bit alarming. He's been bounced around multiple acadmies (Barca obviously wasnt his fault) and never really settled anywhere, just makes me wonder about his attitude. I know we've done well with this type of signings in the past and I see the similarities to the Roberts transfer (although he didnt bounce around quite as much and had hat least one excellent loan spell) but I'm very sceptical of it, personally.

I think his loans have generally gone well, serious injury at Blackburn aside. At Leeds, I get the impression that Bielsa rated him but subsequent managers didn't. I'm not concerned by his academy moves as they all came before he was 16. He spent 2016-2020 at Man City so must have been settled there.

I think we have to see how things go.

I won't be slagging him off on here, he looks like he knows some blokes that would make you regret it

Nice new feature
Some nice mentions of his good work rate and attitude from some of the players who know him

I’m looking forward to seeing him play for us. There’ll likely be games that pass him by, often the way with wingers, but he could be an exciting player to watch

Welcome to the club

Weird under-reaction to this signing. Nailed on to be a fan favourite. There aren't that many players in this league more technically gifted than Poveda.

If you watch the football to be entertained then you should be happy about this signing, and he was free.
Low expectations are good in this case. Sheffield Wednesday fans seem to have really wanted him there permanently, must have something about him.

Gut feeling - thats it - sorry but thats the way it is.
It is not a gut feeling. You have looked at his stats and career to date and quite reasonably concluded he has stuggled everywhere he has been.

Another pointless cheap signing.
I am mainly entertained by goals. Does he score them or contribute to them being scored? Or is he another one who can do the river dance around the ball but can't actually kick it straight?
Post of the week mate.
