Hopefully, this signing gives Roberts a much needed rocket up his arse. We'll have had to pay Poveda a decent wage to come here and he looks cocky enough to think he'll be starting every week.

Be interesting to see if Roberts sees him signing as a threat and steps up or if he downs tools and disappears like he's done at other clubs in the past.

Roberts disappeared the minute he signed a new contract last season.

Hard to argue against that. Certainly seemed to get a little too comfortable. I'm hoping this gigning rubs him up the wrong way and he wants to fight for the starting 11. Both him and Poveda do have chips on their shoulders so I'm hoping we can benefit from their competition.

I think he's an improvement on Paddy, he's got great skills but very little end product
