Where are you getting that idea from? I haven’t even mentioned you, injuries or matches. You need to stop being so precious.

The idea that we can get a good as a replacement for Clarke straight away or better him is going to be extremely difficult.

I didn't say you had mentioned me, but you had generalised negativity on the signing.

There's a solution to the Clarke issue in that we don't sell him, as we've been told by KS that we don't need to sell anyone.

There is around if this is Clarkes replacement, my point is we can’t get someone as good as Clarke or better.

If you check my history I was delighted when we signed him. I stated he was one of the best English talents I’d seen when he came through at Leeds. He just needed games and a home. So yes I thought he was good.

Well I was the one of a few posters who'd pointed out it possiby wasn't the best signing on the face of it, so by definition I'd be in the mix.

I’m talking about people saying he’s Clarke’s replacement.

I’ve got no idea what he’s going to be like here. He’s an exciting player but I don’t disagree there’s question marks over fitness.

Don’t get this thinking tbh, seems like he is clear competition for Roberts.

If we were to sell Clarke, I’m sure the club would look for someone bigger to replace him.

I’d have an attitude problem if I wasn’t sure I’ll be getting paid too.
 
I have no issue with him, he's signing on a free, will be lowish wages etc but I doubt he improves that position.

Roberts with 1 goal and zero assists last season was poor.

I was hoping we'd sign something a bit different with better output figures and we've just gone and signed a very similar player.

No. It was the season before last when the Oyston regime was well out of the picture. I doubt Blackpool were paying a whole load of his rumoured massive salary. Blackpool wanted to terminate his loan at one stage but Leeds didn't want him back which says it all.

I'm responding to your point " There’s people saying he’s not as good as Clarke and putting negativity on the signing. Which is a clear indication they expect SAFC to sign someone of the same quality of Clarke. It’s just not gonna happen"

My point is Clarke dropped down to league one to get game time, and I'm sure the club could find another Clarke if they do their job, its called good scouting and promoting the club in a good light...
