Bernardo Silva averages a goal every 412 minutes in the prem, and a pretty similar assist output, not always about goals with a wingerThat is putting politely. A winger who cannot score goals. He will be best mates with Roberts.
That is 1 goal in 4.5 games. Ok for a winger.Bernardo Silva averages a goal every 412 minutes in the prem, and a pretty similar assist output, not always about goals with a winger
Who do you expect to score our goals thenBernardo Silva averages a goal every 412 minutes in the prem, and a pretty similar assist output, not always about goals with a winger
Our new striker would be a useful one, hopefully.Who do you expect to score our goals then
Bennette will also leave imo, just don’t see him making an impact here.Still leaves us with Bennette, Roberts, Mundle, Rusyn and Ba (plus any youngsters)
Huggins is nearly 24 and has less than half that number of appearances yet is still given a chance.24 years old and only 69 games under his belt. That’s a worrying stat for me.
Think him and Roberts will be our right side options, Ba just isn't a winger and I won't be surprised if he is one to leave in the window personally. Clark (or ideally Millar if he is away) and Mundle on the left side. Need at least two players for every position and it's something we just didn't have last season, hopefully it's being rectified in every position now with proven experience.
Sheffield Wednesday fans on twitter are gutted like so that's a positive sign.
Huggins had a broken back to be fairHuggins is nearly 24 and has less than half that number of appearances yet is still given a chance.
So basically reliant on 1-2 players that doesn't get you promotedOur new striker would be a useful one, hopefully.
Agreed. Only place he can play is no 10 or wide. Cannot play in the middle in a two man midfield.Embleton is awful in ekwahs position
Just literally goes missingAgreed. Only place he can play is no 10 or wide. Cannot play in the middle in a two man midfield.
That is 1 goal in 4.5 games. Ok for a winger.
When Clarke leaves none of our wingers will get near a return like that.
And a nasty knee injury from planting his leg funny.Huggins had a broken back to be fair
I'd hope one of the 4 strikers we alrady have or the new one coming in, midfielders chip in with goals, hopefully the wingers contribute too but they don't need to be scoring 10+ a season like Clarke does (who might not even leave yet)Who do you expect to score our goals then
Last season finishing 16th we scored 52 goals. The season before finishing 6th we scored 68 goals.Silva is playing for a city eam that creates a hell of a lot more chances than us or Wednesday do, that's not a lot of goals. Wingers can bring more to a team than just goals.
Poveda will get us further up the pitch, he is able to drive at a defence or keep hold of possession if needed. Today's game is all about territory and space so having players like him is crucial
Why?Must mean Clarke is a goner though?
