Does anyone actually know what the sell on clause is? As far as I know contracts aren't common knowledge. Can anyone produce anything definite?

Is a sell on clause only on profit ? Surely it’s not the entire fee. Not that it matters much when we’ve paid very Mall fees for these players but surely it’s just the profit that it applies to ??

Clarke wasn't arsed about Burnley last summer, I think he'll feel the same about Ipswich.
He'll probably want a more established Premier league side if he has the option.

Saying that, if they offer 20m I think the club will take it.
He might wait a while, they have not exactly been queuing up for him, these established prem clubs.

He has 2 years left on contract, not sure you'll get £10m+ if 1 year left on it
Like we didn't get £10m for a knackered Ross Stewart. Contract length doesn't matter anymore, it's whose after him and how many. Don't want to see this lad go at anytime. But if Bristol City got £25m for their best young'un we should be getting no less for our best player. Just tell them to fuck off and mind their business, no cheap deals to be had in Sunderland.

Why do you think no one is offering that kind of money for Clarke?
