IPL prize money is eye watering. This year's winning franchise got the equivalent of £392 million. Compare that to the FA Premier League winners who got £62 million.

No wonder the ECB are jealous. It makes no difference though. English domestic cricket will never make serious money and outside investors know this unless they ship the 16.4 franchises to India. Then English cricket will get bugger all.

At least Trescothick, Bell and Flintoff are still good blokes. No idea on the Joneses.
