Sunderland AFC U18s

Finn Gergasuin(?) looks a unit mind
Can't speak highly enough of Finn in the few times I've met him. I'm postie for his grandparents and he's often there and genuinely a humble young lad and yes he is bloody tall as well, and I'm not easily dwarfed.

Hope the lad makes it here.

I was just hoping he'd make up for last time and have a great preseason.

Who was the last striker to come through the ranks and make any sort of contribution? Kevin Kyle?
Probably easing him in after being out for such a long time.

Maja is an academy product and made a contribution. Most of the other strikers who could have made it were given away (Waghorn, Hugill, Greenwood, Coburn, Okoronkwo, etc).

Maja rocked up at 16 from Fulham via City.

The same could possibly be said for Kyle.

Waghorn was a long time ago and we got 3m for him, probably more than he was worth at the time. The rest I agree.

Maja was signed from Man City's academy. Also, Waghorne was sold for £3m when we were signing players in the running for world footballer of the year.
