Derbyshire Falcons v Durham T20

If only we'd paced our innings better in some of our other games we'd have avoided Surrey.

A QF is an improvement but this Northern group has been horrendous and I'd be shocked if any but Warks make it through.

The fact half our team is going to be playing Test and One Day cricket. While nearly all of Surrey will being playing the Hundred. Will definitely hinder us even more.

I pray the ECB will let us use Stokes and Wood. Not holding my breath.

Game I think will be Tuesday 3rd September. If so I shall be going!

Haway Durham even if I can't see anything other than a Surrey win

The South Group looks seriously good in truth, Surrey, Somerset, Sussex and even Gloucestershire who look likely to miss out are really solid teams in this format.

BUT

Who knows, eh? A one off game, at the arse end of the season, with likely a new overseas man in the side… One good thing for us is that our side is pretty much our red ball side with a few additions from the 2’s - what you see is what you get regarding our playing staff. And who knows, perhaps we’ll enjoy the luxury of Stokes (possibly) or even Wood (next to no chance) being made available.
