I think so long as none have been used your entitled to a full refund, once one game has passed you lose that right.
 
It's a Marco Gabbiadini not a Marco van Basten type we're talking about here.
Strong, direct and a cool finisher plucked from relative obscurity be that from the lower leagues, on loan or from an overseas league.
How flaming hard can it be?
The whole situation is pathetic and it's on Speakman.

you can excuse him for one or even two transfer windows... you don't know was or wasn't available and you don't want to see us having our pants pulled down. but its 18 months since Simms left and Stewart got injured (again) long term. 18 months... the fourth transfer window...surely they have had their eye on someone who has since become available
 
And whilst we're on the subject, this is the Championship not the Champions League before the Speakman 'he got us out of league 1' apologists start spouting how much more difficult strikers are to find. Outside the top four every season this league is pretty rank with anyone being able to beat anyone else on the day. A bit of strength, pace and hunger is pretty well all that's required. In fact pretty much the antithesis of the Speakman special that is Hemir.

Team looked decent first game, just lacked a cutting edge, we'll get a striker before the end of the window.
Don't worry there's still 7 days to go.
5 days.
1 day.
Just have to get that Clarke money in so we can get that quality striker.
August 30th 11:01pm - We don't play with traditional strikers anyway stop pissing you pants and support the lads.

That should just about cover it.

Three weeks to relocate to the region, settle in, integrate into the new coaches playing style and effectively get to know your teammates. Already a big ask. Pre-season games will soon be lost opportunities to achieve the same too.
Once again, Speakman running out of time and not demonstrating lessons learned from last season.

september - 'team needs time to get, give it 10 games before judging'
october - 'if so and so hadn't been injured we'd be alright'
november - 'no point moaning now we just need to wait till january transfer window'
december - 'we've been unlucky with injuries and suspesions, xmas period has been too much for the lads'
january - 'wait and see what the squad looks like on 1st feb'
february - 'give them 10 games before judging...''

If it doesn't matter how late they are signed then hopefully certain posters won't say 'he needed a good pre season '.
Can't have it both ways.
 
Aye we still don't have a proven striker but the owner has given out pink slices (local delicacy, proves he's in touch with what the people of Sunderland want and need) so I am back on side.

He's also brought back a fan favourite old kit and badge, proving he's forward thinking and not living in the past.

Do I even need to mention the millions he's borrowed against the club to fix the teles at the stadium? Not using his own money just shows what a savvy businessboy young master kyril is.

Good hands we are in, don't worry
